stay gold: Insecure Girls poem.
She was a young preteen close to my age,
She wanted to be like a model, skinny and seen on the stage
blowing money, on beauty books and make-up,
bags under her eyes, trying to look like a superstar, this is reality baby wake up.

Personal Problems Poem
Everyone has there own stories, different stereotypes, put them in categories. honestly, from person to person no one is different. People all over the world, minds are pretty distant. depression or love, peace or anger, feelings can’t resist it. there was this girl, who made one mistake, and next was abortion. then another insecure girl, cutting her meals into portions. Kids out in the world skinny down to there bones. starving to death with there hunger groans. I guess no one cares about there third world zones. or explain the teenagers with no homes. or drug addicts popping acid, as there mouth foams. tell me you hate your life. But people get to new lows, cutting themselves with a knife. I call this last kid myself, his parents both almost passed live around school, killing his dream, being harassed. Tell me you don’t fucking care, because a dream is for a lifetime better prepare. -Alex Nguyen.
